Hi Doctor, I had been into this Ativan drug for the past 2 years, now this has lead to neck stiffness(which is making me hard to fell asleep) and it had made me to take extra 2mg drug in the morning. 12:30PM 2mg ativan 4PM 2mg ativan 9PM 2mg ativan 25mg amitryn I'm trying really hard to come out of this sedation. Sir, Earlier i was alcohol addicted after that i met with gastro and he prescribed ativan 2 mg. I was taking ativan 2 mg daily at night for 1 year. I went to severe depression and having weight loss, sleepeness, suicidal thought, mood swing, tremor, irregular heartbeat and many more then i went to phycritrist and he prescibe me librium 10 and olisur f5 and same was taking from 2 months. Is it safe or will contact to other doctor. Will i get again addicted to librium and olisur?pllz suggest.

Due to schezropenia , one psychiatrist suggested to use Ativan and sizidon..I have used this for two months..after that hearing voices decreased but  I cud not able to sleep normally...due to which am crying whole day worrying about my sleep. Whenever I try to sleep my body is giving jerks n am getting awake without able to sleep..right now one doctor gave qpen and oleanz ..but am.crying all whole day thinking I can't sleep again normally..dono why I feel like crying ..this becoming lik a new symptom...my crying is increasing day by day

Sir, madam I have been suffering from insomnia,anxiety for 6 years. currently using ativan 1.5mg, libirium 10mg, able to sleep 5hrs only. To reduce stress i have been doing walking for 40mins and 15 mins listening to relaxation music, avoiding phone before 30 mins to bed, maintaining the sleep routine, taking 5 almonds at night. I tried Tagara as well ,but that didnt work.Felt no sleep and headache. I am allegic to Chamomile, tried cinanamon milk for 1 month ,but that didnt help much. Other health issues: Urine inconsistency, Gastric, flatulence , ibs.Looking for natural food or supplements to extend the sleep to 6 hours.

My father age 73 he is having high bp and high sugar for that medication is going on also he is on Ativan half mg, for only sleep problem but he doesn't have any anxiety issue with Ativan half mg he sleeps well, now in market Ativan 1 mg is not avialble anywhere so what medicine should be given to him. Pls suggest a medicine which work same as Ativan half

Hi, Taking Ativan is making me feel lightheaded. Is there a viable alternative to it? I have been prescribed this medicine for my insomnia.

I have been taking Ativan 1mg for 4-5 days, can I skip it from now or should I take half of it and slowly cut down intake?
