Can Amitryn-c(Amitriptyline 12.5mg+chlordiazepoxide 5mg)singal dose daily be taken for a long time such as one year.

My mom is prescribed with Paxidep12.5 after breakfast and Lonazep 0.5 and Amitryn 10 after dinner for tension, depression, forgetfulness, sleeplessness and fear. Now she oversleeps and is drowsy throughout the day. Is this a side effect of the medicines or is this normal? Because of this she says she cannot go out of the house and has to remain at home.

My mother(55 years) has been taking Amitryn C(12.5mg) tablet for more than 5 years for her anxiety and depression. Is it safe to continue this medicine for such a long time? Hi Doctor, I had been into this Ativan drug for the past 2 years, now this has lead to neck stiffness(which is making me hard to fell asleep) and it had made me to take extra 2mg drug in the morning. 12:30PM 2mg ativan 4PM 2mg ativan 9PM 2mg ativan 25mg amitryn I'm trying really hard to come out of this sedation. I was  on a course of migrabeta tr 40 one tablet in morning, topinor 25 one in morning and two at night and one Amitryn 10 tablet at 7.30 pm. I'm a lady of 55 years suffering with anxiety and stress. Dr advice me to take Amitryn-c , Prothiadine m(75) Zapiz(25) Thyronorm 75 Rojavel-10. Except anxiety and stress, I had a thyroid problems which is a normal range now. I don't have any other health issue. Please advise me whether I'm taking the right medicine or not since I always feel sleepy and tired. Best regards
