I've been misdiagnosed with oral herpes,I've taken full week course of aciclovir 400mg tds,now from 2,3 days I'm having pain in my legs and tingling sensation in hands and feet,can this be the side effect of aciclovir,how much time it'll take to resolve I've stopped using the drug 2 days back

My doctor prescribed my 400mg aciclovir every 8 hours(3x a day basically for 10 days) as i had hsv(1+2 igm) as 1.38 and positive. While igg is negative for the same. So he said it's highly unlikely you have herpes, as the girl with whom i had sex and seeing her for last 2-3 months, she tested negative. And if it was past infection I would've gotten my igg in higher numbers as well. So, my question is this medication safe for kidneys? I have malrotated ectopic left kidney.. in dec i did a KFT which showed a slightly elevated creatinine? But when i repeated the test after a week it was normal only.(could that be possible as i had eaten a lot of nonveg the before day and night?). And in the second kft my potassium was slight higher and after that i never checked it again. So in these circumstances, can I take the medicine? Please guide me

My doctor told me the "thing" on my lower lip is not herpes simplex virus. But he still gave me Aciclovir Xyclovirax. What would be the reason why he would give me Aciclovir Xyclovirax if it's not herpes?

2 years back i got some red dots on my penis head No blisters No pain no itchying just red dots on penis After 6 months i got problem in urination i have to frequently for urination then i want to a urologist he advice some test like cbc , sonography, std profile , urine culture .My all repots were normal except herpes iGg positive so he gave me valcyclovir 500mg for 3 days and told me not to worry abt it. After 3 months pain started in my spinal tail bone for 1 week and then it came in lower back and constipation and till now i am suffering from this 1) urine retention 2) back pain on lower and mid spinal cord 3) constipation I googled and found many links abt herpes affecting the nervous and cause neurological problems I treid oral acyclovir tablets but no relief Plzz help me with this what all test should i do and how to come out of it It's affecting my life very badly Thank u
