Recurrent vaginal infection for 6 months. Tried pessaries - cansoft and oral fluconazole and itraconazole. Currently douching with betadine and peroxide. Is boric acid a safe option to try in case of drug resistant Candida albicans? What other conservative options do I have available?

The skin become reddish all over, iting and very heat. azole and antiasthem tab taken l. hHowever it worsening.

Primarily it was symptoms of hives. azole and anti asthem tab were take. Hower it is worsennig now. please advice suitabke medicines.

Hiii... I am a hypothyroid patient.. I got fungal infection/yeast infection last year. I went to doctor for consultation and they prescribed me some azoles and some tablets to insert. It was treated at that time. But it reoccurs after every 3 months. Is there any permanent solution for it ?

I have tinea cruris which I identified 10 days ago.. It started 4to5 months ago.. I consulted the dermatologist... I am taking oral medications and also using azole tubes... But it has not reduced.. The skin of affected area is becoming dry that is what is much irritating.. Plz help me ...what to do? I am 18 yes old

My mom takes Atorvastatin(20mg). She is been on Atorvastatin for past 3 years and her cholesterol level are slightly above the safe level.  She recently develop some fungal infection on her foot and the skin specialist prescribed her fluconazole. My mom took it for 2 week. I recently came across bunch of very concerning articles that says azole antifungals and statins should not be taken together. Is it not generally prescribed together ? Should I run some tests on her to find if there are any side effects ?

Hi, I'm having these itchy spots/ringworms on my thigh and breast folds. These were fading away by azole medication (prescribed by dermatologist) i.e. itraconazole capsules 100mg, clotrimazole cream 30 mg and levocetirizine tablets 5 mg. But the rings start showing up again on the same infected area, spread and itch like hell. Please could anyone suggest the permanent cure to Tinea Cruris. I am afraid i will get other people in the house infected too. Please recommend some permanent cure to this

I have a sort of fungal infection itch commonly referred to as jock itch (tinea cruris) ,it has been 2 years and the infection just refuses to leave .I've tried all creams consisting terbinafine, clotrimazole etc. even the azole oral drugs like fluconazole etc. but it won't go . I am just fed up . It has affected the groin region of my body and has now spread to a major portion of my leg. I have a somewhat poor hygiene as I live in a hostel but I make pretty sure that my groin remains dry  . The odour too is quite obnoxious.
