You need to consult a dentist/oral surgeon for further evaluation of your problem.scars in side the mouth can be due to smoking & chewing tobacco which can be best diagnosed by a personal visit to the doctor.Blood samples or reports are to be decided by the doctor so that the effects of tobacco can be diagnosed.

Consult with a dentist

I would advice a consultation. Your dentist can check for any white lesions or fibrosis. And would recommend accordingly.

No worries... Great you quit smoking... Now start with a multivitamin with Lycopene for 2 months once a day and incase you have any cough please see your chest specialist (pulmonologist) and also your treating dentist. Make sure you make a picture of the scar for comparison Regards Dr Vinod Chandel
