Hi! Scaling is a regular prophylactic procedure for cleaning your teeth. In regards to the other teeth with decay. If you do not have pain and upon X Ray it does not show involvement of dental pulp then you can go for fillings(restoration). In this case go for composite(filling material) restorations. If you have pain or upon X Ray it shows pulp involvement then you will need to go for root canal treatment followed by crowns(cap) on both the teeth. Exact treatment plan depends on clinical and radiographic examination by a dental surgeon.
Next Steps
Visit a dental surgeon and get yourself evaluated
Health Tips
Make sure the consulting dentist explains to you in detail and also provides radiographic evidence if required.

Scaling means tooth cleaning. It is done when there stains and calculus on your teeth. And filling is done when there is decay or cavity on tooth surface. In your case restoration can be done if there is no pain associated with the tooth. Visit a dentist nearby your place and get a thorough check up done. He will guide you in the best possible manner and do the treatment as required.
