Sadness due to medicine
Do SSRI MEDICINE causes sadnes. I was prescribed to have this bcj of my sexual thoughts compulsive behaviour. After some months of medicine i was cured bt now whilw lockdown is there it comes again.so i couldn't go to doctor and then i took the same medicine again.( Sertraline tablet zosert 50) Bt earlier i was full of energy and happiness after having the medicine..now after getting it i feel sad everytime without any reasn . Recently i started to have this 1 week back. Wht to do as i can't go to doctor nd consult to him about it. what to do..will this sad feeling go away by own. is it normal while these type of medication? Pls say as it's no possible way to reach my doctor

Ssris sudden stop can cause withdrawal which can have variable presentation.. Ur ocd was controlled on a very low dose..can u share ur old prescriptions... Overall evaluation is needed to rule out other causes...
