Hi Sir/Madam, Could you please let me know is there any risk of cancer from hair color? Is it true that using hair color for 5 - 6 years could increase the risk of cancer? Thanks, Monojit

It is said that hair dye can increase the risk of cancer but not directly proven. Research has shown correlation of dye usage with breast cancer, bladder cancer, blood cancer. Most important is to know the ingredients of the dye used. Depends on the cancer causing ingredients. It also depends on each individuals genes.
