Today I went to a dentist for rct, I found that the doctor used a small instrument to clean my effected teeth. I asked him that the instrument was sterelized or not, he repplyed it is impossible to sterelized it for every patient. Only in case of surgery instrument is sterized. And also said, dont worry for that. Sir is there any chance for HIV? As I found blood after that.

It is improper if any dental surgeon has said so. There are ways to sterilize every instrument used or if at all any instrument cannot be sterilized then that should be discarded after single use rather than risking the life of the patients.
