Dear doctor, I have enlarged papillae on right side of tongue and attached a picture of it. Also, the right tongue edge always has some burning sensation along with some inflammation in right molar and right mucosa. It is there for 2 months.
I don't have any habit of tobacco , gutka chewing or drinking/smoking. I had shown to doctor who diagnosed as chronic right tonsillopharyngitis and prescribed clarithromycin for a week but it had no improvement.
What could be the reason. The tongue has a constant discomfort in the day. It is not severe in the morning though after later on it progresses.
