Are there any x ray or mri done to confirm the diagnosis of arthritis. You may have other conditions of hip or spine too. It is a little uncommon to have single hip arthritis at your age without any contributing factor such as knee or ankle or back pain /arthritis /injury.

If you are having pain and its the main issue, go for physiotherapy, they will apply you some modalities to get the reduction in pain along with some strengthening and stretching exercises depending on the condition. but if squatting is the main problem, so you should avoid that as it will increase worsen your problem . Even surgery won't help you in squatting.

If you have arthritis and there is lots of pain surgery is the only answer. It will improve your day-to-day activities.  You will have unlimited walking capacity without pain. Even after surgery it is not advisable to squat. If you can postpone surgery, do it for as long as you can, based on the amount of pain you have.

If you are having hip arthritis you should sit on floor, cross legged sitting or sqaut. If you do this the pain and damage increases. Better to avoid sitting on floor or sqaut and even do not climb stairs, always use a stool or a chair to sit. Strengthen your hip muscles by exercises, apply diclofenac gel and ice pack to reduce pain. Even after joint replacement you are advised not to sit on floor or sqaut.

If ur suffering from arthritis for a long then i will suggest to go gor x ray and MRI and visit irthood or Joint replacement surgeon..reasons being for joint Replacement. 1. For pain control 2. To able able to sit and walk comfortably 3. Improve daily activities of living 4. Avoid shortening of limb 5. Late intervention requires skill and limb length correction and release of soft tissue contractures So i will recommend no further wait
