It is mostly a viral infection. CRP values can be raised during any infective process in the body. Your symptoms should settle by 2-3 days. If they persist we can plan for further consultation and evaluation as WBC count is also slightly high.

Based on your CBC (mild anemia, raised WBC with neutrophilia) + raised CRP + symptoms of fever, cough, breast pain and body ache: This most likely suggests an acute infection, possibly: • Upper respiratory infection • Early chest infection • Breast inflammation (if pain is localized to one side with tenderness) Raised CRP alone is not dangerous, it simply indicates inflammation in the body. Your blood picture supports infection rather than something serious like malignancy. Mild anemia may be contributing to fatigue but is not the main cause of fever.
Next Steps
✔ Monitor temperature for 2–3 days ✔ If fever persists >101°F or lasts >3–4 days → consult physician ✔ If breast pain is associated with redness, warmth or swelling → rule out mastitis ✔ If cough worsens or breathlessness develops → Chest examination ± X-ray Blood tests to consider (after recovery if fatigue continues): • Serum FerritinVitamin B12Vitamin D If CRP is very high (>40–50), doctor may consider antibiotics depending on clinical findings.
Health Tips
• Adequate hydration (2.5–3 liters daily) • Paracetamol for fever/body pain (as prescribed) • Steam inhalation for cough • Warm compress if breast tenderness • Iron-rich diet (if anemia confirmed) • Proper rest CRP usually comes down once the infection settles — it does not stay elevated permanently. If you’d like, we can review your CRP value and symptoms in detail over an online consultation to tailor treatment precisely and prevent recurrence.

Your CRP is raised, which usually means there is some infection or inflammation in the body. Your report also shows mild increase in white cells, which can happen with fever and cough. Most mild infections improve with proper treatment and rest. Please consult me directly so I can review the reports properly and guide the right treatment.
