Removal of DHS plate implant from leg
I have sustained a fracture of femur in year 2008. I have undergone a surgery to fix the fracture in which a DHS plate with 6 screws placed in my leg. It's been 8 years since my surgery. Now its creating problem and i feel pain when i walk and i cant do exercise. Now i want to remove this implant. is it possible to remove this implant after 8 yrs. Will there be no complications after removal of implant.?

Can be easily removed. Get in touch with your orthopaedic surgeon. Ususally no complications post removal.
