Hello.... If your teeth r mild yellowish then a basic teeth cleaning plus polishing and use of good whitening toothpaste for few days will brighten your teeth...... And.... If your teeth are darkly yellowish then u must go for.professional teeth whitening treatment. Keep smiling.

You can first go for normal scaling and polishing ..if you are not satisfied by the colour of your teeth then go ahead with bleaching which will brighten your tooth colour by two to three shades..this will last for a period of a year or more but it will never come back to the teeth shade you started with..after that you can just go ahead with mild brightening of shade with milder home bleach..but the decision whether you should go ahead with bleaching will be taken by your dentist seeing your gum condition and all the cavities if you are having any have to be filled before going ahead..

Hello, Teeth may gradually become yellow due to aging, hereditary factors, poor dental hygiene, or excessive consumption of tea, coffee, tobacco and cigarettes. In addition, high doses of antibiotics, climatic conditions, infection and improper metabolism can contribute to discoloring of teeth. Mix a small pinch of baking soda to your tooth paste and brush with the mixture, rinse with warm water, daily. Or rubbing your teeth with orange or banana peal once a day also helps. Eating strawberry can also whiten your teeth. Avoid the things causing discoloration as said above. Or else visit a dentist.
