Regarding fetus
Sir/Madam, My wife is having pregnancy of 22 weeks and had undergone ultrasound with the following important remarks in the report Large renal parenchymal tissue is seen in the right renal fossa. Length of the right rided renal tissue is approx 32-35 mm(larger than expected for gestation) The shape appears abnormal with upper aspect of renal tissue normal in appearance measuring approx 21 mm in length with normal parenchymal echotexture and corticmedullary differentiation. No Pelvis fullness and calyceal dilatation is seen in this renal parenchyma. The lower renal tissue appears slightly different in character with miildly dilated renal pelvis with a AP diameter of 8-9 mm. The calyceas also appear dilated measuring 7 mm in lower part and 4 mm in upper part. There is slight increased parenchymal echogenicity in this parenchymal tissue. However good amount of parenchymal tissue is seen surrounding mildly dilated renal calyceas. Both the renal tissues appear to have separate hilum with? s
