Theoretically speaking, yes it is possible to remove the braces for one week or one month and then resume the treatment again after some time, but it is a procedure that you will always be advised against.... you might not have a problem with the additional cost of the treatment due to removal of the braces and then rebonding of the same, but you should also realise that this step gives a major setback to the flow of the treatment and can delay the treatment and at the same time can also reverse the changes that would have been achieved till that stage.... clear aligners would be a better option for you if you wish to go to family functions without showing off the braces..... regards.....
No u can't remove your braces but u can remove remove ur wire in case of emergency.for that also u have to go for ceramic braces which are tooth coloured n can't be seen immediately or in pics.but braces should be removed only after completion of treatment.if u want to remove ur braces also for some time then we have to again start from the beginning ,again have to place braces on ur teeth ,n again u have to pay the whole charges of treatment.hope u ll get ur answer, thank you.
