Hello doctor...i am 22 yrs old. Recently i had an eye check up where i was told that i have a power of -3 in both my eyes. Later on had a cross check done in another place where i was told that i have a power of -2.75 in both the eyes....Now i'm totally confused on which one i should follow...right now i'm using -3 lens for the past 2 days & it is clear....now after this 2nd check up i'm confused on which one i should follow. Please help...

-0.25 is not always a big factor . Please follow the prescription of a particular person and if there is any problem contact the concerned doctor

hello both are equally good and both are right there is often variation of 0.5D between power prescribed by different doctors... you may use either

The difference is very insignificant and you can continue with -3.0 lenses.

A small difference of 0.25 is common between two different checkups. Since you already have got your - 3.00 ready, continue to use them routinely. If you have discomfort or eye strain with these glasses even after a short duration of usage, then you may have to get your refraction verified, by an ophthalmologist. No harm will be done if you use either of the powers. No need to get confused.
