The reason for the gap, if it has come about suddenly could be due to loss of a tooth or teeth in that jaw, due to which the teeth shift.
If the gap has been around for a while, it could be either due to an issue in the bite (lower teeth hitting the upper) or a high frenal attachment (the skin from the lip, to the gum could be thick) either case it could be corrected by either direct veneers (done immediately) or indirect veneers (made in a lab)
But if the gap has been about due to an underlying reason, you may need to get that corrected first!
