Hi, I am three weeks post ACL reconstruction surgery and from last 3 days I am doing physiotherapy and since yesterday I see redness in my incision after I flex my knee, I checked with my pt and he says it's scar tissue, incision is not warm and not much painful, have a little swelling since day 1, wanted to know if it's a sign of infection.
Redness goes away and comes back as I flex.

Do u have fever. Redness is a sign of inflammation. U should better consult your primary operative surgeon to guide you about infection and real cause of redness

Difficult to comment at present. May be a scar .
To rule out infection get CBC, ESR and CRP done.
Apply ice packs locally, stop physio till scar / redness settles.
