Redness and pain on tatto
I got a tattoo on my ankle on the 23rd of may. And it has become red and it pains a lot when I stand up or walk. The pain diminishes after I start walking but it is a lot when I am about to stand up or move it after resting. What can I do about it. I was applying vitamins a and do ointment but stopped it last night

Pain after tattoo may be due to two things.
1. Inflammation from allergy to tattoo colour can cause swelling in deeper layers of skin leading to pain
2. If tattoo was done without aseptic precautions then infection can set in and lead to inflammation and pain.
Need to consult dermatologist for ideal treatment, as you may need antibiotics if it is infected.
