Red bumps on sole of feet and palm

Dear Doctor, My son 4.8yrs now. From yesterday we are able to see red bumps on his sole on the feet and on his palm. Can I know what could this be and what precautions to be taken. Kindly suggest Regards Prashanth

If you send an image it will be better.But from what you say it is classic of hand foot and mouth disease.Check if he has rashes near the mouth and ulcers in the mouth ,any fever, running nose.
