Congratulation as a survivor. Best part is that your fertility was not affected and you have experienced motherhood. Although we say this disease is not hereditary, but there are new evidences that in many cases ALL propensity starts in-utero and many case reports of siblings getting ALL. Yes there is a risk if recurrence, but it's chances decreases as time goes by. You have passed 7yr after initial diagnosis, and thus very minimal risk. This thought should not distract you from living and enjoying your life. At this stage if you are in remission, then we say you are cured and have almost normal survival.
Next Steps
long term risk of cardiotoxicity and memory loss and second malignancy remains.
Health Tips
