Hi doctor,
I have rct done about 11 years ago in one of my molars and have not put any cap on it. Now I want to go for scaling of my teeth, first time ever in my life. So I want to know ia there any danger that the rct tooth can break during scaling as they say that tooth becomes weak after rct?

You can go for scaling of teeth, in fact it's mandatory to have regular cleaning of teeth at least once in a year though we advise six month followup.
If crown margins of your root canal treated teeth are intact then there is no danger of any micro damage to tooth.
Your dentist will examine it before scaling of that tooth. Yes tooth become weak after rct, and to protect it we place crown on top of tooth. Just have check up with your dentist and go for cleaning of teeth.
