Rapid breathing in 1 month old baby
Mera baby 28 days old h...birth k baad se hi uska breathing bohot fast h..i have counted his breath while he is asleep..it is 60 per min...but there is no nostril flare...baby sleeps very comfortably with mouth closed...i consulted dr he checked using stethoscope and said it is normal...but i am still worried ..baby ko lung ya heart m problem toh ni h ??.. he is feeding and gainjng proper weight ...plz advice what to do

Hi You consulted doctor recently then it is fine ,otherwise go and check up with doctor once again . Normally babies are breathing fastly following conditions 1 .nasal block 2.after feeding for20- 30min approximately If nasal block try saline nasal drops 2 drops both nostril 4 to 5 times a day

Better to visit nearby pediatrician, he/she can assess the child. Do a CXR and 2D Echocardiography if possible
