Rabies injection
My daughter is 4years old...she goes to a house in our neighbourhood to play with a 2years old child..they have a mongoose as their pet...that mongoose stays openly on bed...on dining table ..on sofa...I am afraid of my daughter catching rabies...besides that mongoose already has bitten that 2years old baby in her finger there is a big cut ..in her finger..many a times I saw her sharing food with that finger to my daughter...yesterday her mother fed my child with same hand she was feeding her child...though she is under treatment but her vaccination is not complete ted...I am really afraid for my child catching rabies...should she take anti rabies vaccine...plz reply...

if the mongoose has been vaccinated then there is no need to worry. also rabies doesn't spread by touching. if you are still concerned then you can stop the child from going to the neighbours house. you can also discuss regarding rabies prophylaxis with your doctor
