Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease which not only affects skin but later on affects nails, joints, liver etc. Technically if you go for it's treatment in modern medicine which has got only steroids with a palliative relief. But the disease comes back once you stop the medicine. Now the best option to modify the immune status to overcome this autoimmunity. Homoeopathy has shown tremendously.

Dry skin with scaling could be Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis, Fungal infection or part of a systemic disease like Diabetes or Xerostomia or some rare infections. It is difficult to diagnose with such little information and no visual aid. Better consult in private.
