Hello user Your son is in teenage if you really want to give protein don't go for supplements bcoz they whey protein and other supplements are adviced according to the physical work of a person. Here you didn't mention his physical work that dies he spent 6 to 7 hours in sports, heavy weight lifting in gym, regress exercise. Those who are highly active in physical activities they get supplements so you didn't mention here his activity.
Next Steps

Hi Why do you want to give the supplement when you can meet the protein requirements with the food which is natural and healthy at his age . As per his age ,weight and height he need 0.85gm per kg body weight which means 55 to 56 gm of protein is recommended for him in a day . So you can add sprouts ,lentils, dal, paneer, chees, nuts, home made  protein powder in him diet which is healthy and good at his age.

Restrict the use of protein  supplements, try and add natural  foods such as egg whites, lean meat such as poultry, fish, mushrooms, a fist full of dry fruits, lentils, pulses ,dhals sprouts  protein  rich vegetables  such as beans, peas, country beans butter beans ,kidney beans etc along with milk and products the way the body tries to absorb  protein  from natural  sources is very very different  from the way it absorbs from  supplements
Next Steps
To better  understand  his protein  needs as each meal wise and an appropriate  way to include them through novel ,easy to make recipes  kindly  connect  through practo  online  consult
