I am having an acute tooth ache for last 3 days , yesterday it was at the lower jaw,but the exact pain point was hard to determine , now the pain has shifted to the front side of lower jaw.The pain is coming in brief episodes of 5-10 minutes of extreme pain ..then a relaxing period of 30-60 min then a mild continues pain and repeat. I am currently travelling for work do I need to be cautious, what can I do to ease up the pain .I have never had any previous dental problems.

Toothache commonly is experienced at locations other than the the point of origin. This is known as referred or sympathetic pain. Contact a dental surgeon at the earliest. Over the counter painkillers can be taken in the meanwhile.  Do not take any other medication, especially antibiotics without consulting a qualified doctor.
