Prolonged high fever
High fever since last 6 days and no sign of relief. We tested for maleria , chickengunia and thyroid but everything is normal. He is sweating and fever goes down but it picks up again. High fever reaches up to 102 .

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Whats the use of thyroid test here i do not understand.  Get your WIDAL test and dengue test done and consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management.  Dont sit at home. Pattern of fever is very important to observe....also as it is less than 7 days the fever is not chronic but still you need to discuss what other symptoms you have with fever to narrow diagnosis........still possiblities in your case could be: 1.typhoid 2.pneumonia 3.urine infection 4.occult abscess
