overbite is the vertical overlap between upper and lower front teeth. Correction doesn't require extraction of teeth as such. Over bite is due to lack of space in the arch if there is no spacing between teeth. To reduce the over jet, it is sometimes necessary to remove teeth to create space that allows to move in teeth and reduce over jet.
Invisialign is alternate to braces available. But it has limited role.
