Problem in Neck/Knee due to gym
Experiencing pain in neck/upper back area since last three days after doing overhead press shoulder exercise. Not able to to rotate neck with ease and difficulty in sleeping. Tried using volini but not much relief.

Exercise needs proper form, this kind of injury is result of lack of it. Stop gym for a few days and use prescribed medications. Physiotherapy also helps.

Stop gym exercises for some time.This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or any other metabolic disorder, if there is  any. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for  ...... --.(Take help of a  physiotherapist). --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. Speak to your gym coach and do gym in graded manner. Otherwise you will end up in trouble.Meanwhile Painkillers rest intermittent icepacks followed by physiotherapy. If not better speak to a orthopaedician

Its a muscle pain Give a break to gym for 2-3 days Take muscle relaxant two times daily for 3 days

Is the pain going to your hands as well? Most likely your muscles have gone into spasm. Please stop your exercise till pain subsides completely Try otc pain medicine and hot packs If it doesn't improve please consult in detail
