Hi, there could be various reasons for the knee pain/pressure. Have u done any test? Any injury? Any history of other joint involvements? Any swelling? 16years is an early age for chondromalacia, a condition wherein the cartilage is affected causing pain below the knee cap. There could be some internal derangement if any trauma. This age, i suspect malalignment due to knock kness often affecting the knee cap (patella) Are you involved in sports activities which are recent? Coz sudden active sports without proper muscle strengthening can lead to knee pain. Any cyst/ swelling? Known as popliteal cyst could also be a pressure factor, but usually behind the knee. Pls get yourself checked in detail.
Next Steps
clinical evaluation with a doctor, orthopaedician/ paediatric ortho if possible. get tests, xrays and if needed further evaluation.
