hello Sir, compliments of the query, genuine space between teeth can get enlarged or more due gum proliferation and more and more food imp action. Primary is to keep it clean by inter proxa brush if its large gap visible to eye or small gap then by floss. Keep night rinse and cleaning every night for couple of weeks. Please do take Doxycycline, metronidazole and rabeprazole twice daily for 5 days for a much relief. Do an x ray and contact neighborhood dentist for a proper judicious treatment. but another important suggestion please do a periodical follow up to near by dentist and make it cleaned regualr . then the gums will be healthy. Later on u can consult and discuss the dentist for more radical approach.
Next Steps
X-ray, avoid smoke, hot caffeine n sour junk foodies.
Health Tips
need attention and periodic follow up near neighborhood dentist.

Dear Sir, As per your complaint, you most probably must be having a cavity in your premolar teeth. It must be on the tooth surface which is adjacent to the other tooth, hence there is deposition of food. Possible treatment options are 1.if cavity is small-composite filling or Ceramic Inlay 2.if cavity is deep-root canal treatment followed by inlay or onlay An inlay or onlay is more conservative and less damaging to the tooth as compared to cappng or crowns. sir,plz try to intervene as early as possible,so that we can restrict the damage to the tooth and also damage to the gums(pocket formation)

Sir, there can be deep cavity in that tooth reaching pulp, you should visit a dentist and get an IOPA done of that area that will clear the picture . If the cavity is not reaching pulp then get it filled, but if its reaching pulp then you have to get its RCT done followed by capping.

Hello Sir, Greetings for the day. Sir your complaint suggests that there are chances of infection in the tooth, the gums or both due to the gap present and food lodgement. 1) Pain in the tooth on eating food This is called pain on mastication. This occurs when there is pressure on the Pre- molar while biting so there are chances that there is a cavity on the side of the tooth which cannot be seen on the top and/or infection in the gums or both. Pls visit a dentist and get an X ray of the localised area. The dentist would opine for the appropriate treatment on the basis of the radiograph. 2) Food accumulation and removal. Please use dental floss (Unifloss) for removal of the accumulated food. Do not use any other sharp objects to remove the food as it may cause trauma to the gums. In case of any other questions pls visit us on www.drajwanis.com
Next Steps
Please visit a dentist for a radiograph( X - ray) of the particular region
Health Tips
1) Keep that area clean. 2) Do not use any objects other than a dental floss to clean the area to prevent injury to the gums. 3)Do not bite anything from that side as it might cause pain. 4) Do not eat anything very hot/cold, Sour, etc as it can cause sensitivity.

This is known as diastema .A diastema is a space or gap between two teeth.Sometimes, a diastema is part of a set of problems that require orthodontic treatment. In other cases, a diastema is the only problem. However, some people may seek treatment for reasons of appearance. Some people get braces, which move the teeth together. Often, no matter where the diastema is, you must wear a full set of braces — on both your upper and lower teeth. That's because moving any teeth affects your entire mouth. If your lateral incisors are too small, your dentist may suggest widening them using crowns, veneers or bonding. If you have a space because you are missing teeth, you might need more extensive dental repair. This might include dental implants, a bridge or a partial denture. If a large labial frenum is causing the gap, the frenum can be reduced through surgery called a frenectomy. If a frenectomy is done in a younger child, the space may close on its own. If it is done in an older child or an adult, the space may need to be closed with braces. If the gap is caused by periodontal disease, then periodontal treatment by a dentist or gum specialist (periodontist) is necessary. When gum health is restored, in many cases braces can be used to move the teeth into place. A splint can be used to attach teeth to other teeth and prevent them from moving again. In some cases, a bridge will be required to close the spaces.

Hi..yes that's definitely a problem...any space in between teeth unless self cleansing (easy to wash off the food particles) is an issue. You may have to get an x-ray done first of all to check if there's any proximal caries(cavity on sides /in between the teeth). Also to check if there is any bone loss due to repeated food impaction. if any of these are positive then further treatment in that path is mandatory and urgent. else floss and use interdental brush everyday and manage. Further remedies like braces or crowns for the teeth can be considered.
