Pregnancy consultation.

Asked for Female, 37 Years

Hi Doctor, I have a son who is 6 yrs old and now i hv missed my periods. My LMP was 28/01/2016, did home pregnancy test 2 times and both the times it was positive. Went for a consult with an OB/GYN on 05/03/2016, she asked for the dating scan, but the ultrasonographist told me it is too early to detect any sac and to do a transvaginal scan, but she did do an ultrasound that day and as she told there was no yolk sac seen. A little concerned, it is normal to not see the sac even after positive home pregnancy testing ?? The doctor started me on Feo123 tabs. I am planning to go get the scan done this weekend. Kindly advise me as to what needs to be done. Thanks in advance.

Ideally u should have seen the yolk sac. It's the food of growing v embryo. Getca rpt scan after a week. U should be finding it. If not then possibility of abnormal pregnancy is there
