There are 1-2% of chances of baby getting affected with the disease. But this time of pregnancy is safer for chicken pox to get than in the first 3 months or during the time of delivery. Baby will require detailed anamoly scan and other follow up scans. As you are from bangalore i recommend you to go to Dr. Prathima from BFMC, Bangalore Feto maternal centre in Richmond road. They will do detailed scan of the baby and explain everything. Don't worry be positive. You can go for scan once scabs are formed and completed course of Acyclovir. Hope this helps.
