Prednisone effecting menstrual cycle
Hello there! I’m currently ill with a case of bronchitis. My doctor has placed me on 60mg of prednisone to take for 5 days, as well as Biaxin 500mg for 10 days. My question is this- can the prednisone effect your menstrual cycle? I should have gotten mine 2-3 days ago, and while I’m experiencing cramps like normal I have not gotten my period yet. I read that prednisone can effect this. Can you tell me if this is true?

Not necessarily.There are other more important issues directly linked.You need thyroid hormones assessment too.Consult for specific prescription
