Hi! Powdered like substance can be calculus( white color deposit on teeth).... Despite brushing properly and twice daily it can develop specially in case of crowding ( teeth overlapping each other).....your teeth requires scaling ( professional cleaning)
Next Steps

Hello sir, Don't worry it's just calculus which is known as tartar in common language. It's because of the soft deposits which has become hard like stone over a period of time. This can't be removed by brushing. So don't try to apply pressure or force while brushing to remove the tartar , the force will have a negative impact on the tooth enamel. So plz get a professional help. Get scaling and polishing done. It's a simple procedure. And if you prolong this condition for a long time then it will impact ur gums. And also learn from the dentist the correct way of brushing so that it will reduce further production of tartar in future. Hope this helped u.. :)

Hi..... Brush your teeth after you eat. Keep a toothbrush at work to use after eating. Brush using a fluoride-containing toothpaste at least twice a day, especially after meals. ... Floss at least once a day. Proper flossing removes food particles and plaque from between your teeth,.... Schedule regular dental checkups. See your dentist on a regular basis — generally once or twice a year — to have your teeth or dentures examined and cleaned....
