Hello doctor, I'm brushing only once in a day. From last week onwards, powdered like substances conning from my teeth while scratching with my finger nail. What is that? I'm using a very well known brand of toothpaste. Help me. Thank you.

Hello sir, Don't worry it's just calculus which is known as tartar in common language. It's because of the soft deposits which has become hard like stone over a period of time. This can't be removed by brushing. So don't try to apply pressure or force while brushing to remove the tartar , the force will have a negative impact on the tooth enamel. So plz get a professional help. Get scaling and polishing done. It's a simple procedure. And if you prolong this condition for a long time then it will impact ur gums. And also learn from the dentist the correct way of brushing so that it will reduce further production of tartar in future. Hope this helped u.. :)
