Posterior Scleritis
Hello Doctor, What could be the cause of posterior Scleritis if all tests related to rheumatoid arthritis are negative? Doctor has already given 3 days intervenal steroids. Now she has suggested 1.5 months Wysolone steroid along with Azoran for 2 years. Should we follow the above course?

There are a lot of autoimmune disorders which can cause posterior scleritis. Testing for each of them and treating is not practical sometimes. Log term steroids are commonly prescribed for posterior scleritis

Normally for scleritis, steroids are given.pl follow the advice of your treating doctor.
