Post RCT pain
I have done RCT in my wisdom teeth, the reason being it was not erupted completely and the removal would have been an surgery which I wanted to avoid. Now after the RCT is done,I have sensation, kind of pain in the teeth, whenever I drink water or rinse mouth. My doctor has asked me to rinse with Luke warm saline water to alleviate the pain. Is it a normal complication or do I need to visit another dentist for further checkup?

Pain in the root canal treated tooth is normal in the inetial days of the treatment when the tooth is tender because of the cleaning of root canal system & instrumentation during rct. An iopa x ray would be really helpful to evaluate the problem
Next Steps
keep on wait & watch on this tooth for the next 3-4 days and if the pain persists, visit your dentist and get an iopa xray done.
Health Tips
warm saline rinses or chlorhexidine mouthwash can be helpful to keep the area clean
