Post Pregnancy Periods
My wife delivered a baby girl on 8th February through LSCS. After surgery she was released after 3 days of hospitalisation. Her stitches we removed after 7 days and was asked to take calcium and iron capsules for three months. She was releasing period for one month one week and it stopped. Again it started after ten days in small amount like little seepage and continued for 6 days & then stopped. Again it started in small seepage after 1 day and stayed for 2 days and stopped. After again 6 days there has been again some small seepage of period from yesterday but today there has been none. Is there any abnormality in this plz suggest and help. Am very worried about the same.

Hello, irregular periods are common in puerpural period since she is breastfeeding now ,her LH harmonal level will be high which supresses the FSH harmone ,harmone of Menstrual period. Amenorrhea in breastfeeding woman is called lactation amenorrhea .
