Post inflamatory hypo pig
Post inflammatory hypo pigmentation on chin caused due to radio freq treatment for burning pimple like thing...waited for 3 months to disapper but still hypo pigmentation was not gone,consulted doctor he described placentrex gel to apply daily once at night...i'm so worried that hypo pigmnetation is permanent...any treatments for this? will this go?....my chin had already hyperpigmentation on above it now it has hypopigmentation which is looking odd..please do suggest any treatment or medicines for this

hi , hypopigmentation is not uncommon after laser or electrodissication procedures due to melanocyte damage . Repigmentation can likely take weeks to years. Cosmetic camouflage with micropigmenatation can be done until repigmentation goals are met. UV light exposure has also been reported to expedite repigmentation..consult dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon near by you.. wish you good luck
