Post filling sensitivity
My teeth went under filling after removing decay. But after that i am experiencing severe sensitivity when i consume cold food more than ever. Kindly explain

The original cavity may have been deep.. very near the tooth nerve. Your doctor may have explained this to you while working in the tooth or if there was a pre operative xray. If the nerve is unaffected then after a few days of sensitivity the tooth may recover. However if the sensitivity is not decreasing or conversely it is worsening you may need a root canal treatment with the tooth. Also a thorough examination must be made if there is any other tooth which is also carious.
