Post Covid Care
Hi. My mother had all sorts of covid symptoms from April 27th. We consulted with doctor he doubted covid positive and prescribed accordingly and told to get tested. But due to some testing problem in our state we couldn't get her tasted, she was taking Ivermectin followed by some Protein powder (Diabetes care, as she has diabetes, doesn't need to take insulin, only tablets) and vitamins. She started getting better from 4th of May in home isolation without steroids and oxygen. It's been one month everything was fine. We consulted the doctor and we have his appointment this 15th of June with some blood tests including diabetes. Now from last week she was having tooth ache and eye infection. We consulted both dentist and ophthalmologist. ophthalmologist said it was a viral infection and medication is going on. Now my concern is- Is this post covid complications? Can covid affect eye? If it is How long is it gonna continue? What else to do. Worried as she is diabetic patient.

Post covid complication is mucromycosis mostly in India there will be symptoms of pain around eyes, swelling of face, blurring of vision, double vision (dipolia), headache, cough, cold, fever, These symptoms or more common in diabetes patient ..so this is the worries ..so nothing to worry ..keep evaluate properly..keep encouraging to her..be confident..do CT BRAIN AND FACIAL BONES... Just for confirmation nothing to worry..
