I am 18yrs old female and i am pregnant. If i visit a gynecologist will they inform my parents before an abortion? I know that if i am 18 only my consent is required but this being India i am a bit worried. Will my information kept private as i am an adult?

See its not matter of consent only as it's also important to take your responsibility for this things, not necessarily your parents but a responsible person and don't take things in your hand take advice from the gynac.. Take wise decision in life always...

Hi, all consent and patient details will not be disclosed to anyone with out patient consent even in India.But you should have an ID card with photo prooving that your age is morethan 18 yrs.
