Hi. You haven't mentioned your age. By the history you are providing, I would guess 35-50. Anyway you need comprehensive cleaning of your teeth by a periodontist and if required root planing and flap surgery. Also chlorhexidine mouthwash will be highly beneficial. This treatment option will not correct the spacing. But will prevent further damage. For treating the spacing already there, you can opt for prosthetic treatment.
Next Steps
Visit a periodontist.
Health Tips
Start chlorhex plus mouthwash twice a day after brushing. Dilute one cap of mouthwash with water and rinse for 3-4 minutes and do not eat or drink anything for next 20 minutes.

Hello, gap between teeth could be because of deposits on the teeth or food lodged in between your teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. Brush your teeth twice daily, night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. visit dentist every 6 months.
whether u need gum surgery or not, is the later part .don't think about it rt now.
rt now what you need ia proper scaling and polishing and then wait for at least 2/3 weeks to see the gum condition which by default will improve. then the dr will decide if further treatment is required. even the occlusion needsto be checked.
You should visit a dentist and get scaling and polishing done that will help you to get rid of the deposits and your gums will also heal not 100% but 80- 90%. If the condition is under control.
Hello. Yes it is possible to regain your gum health. Firstly u should go for a round of cleaning and then based on the bone levels and tartar deposits it may or may not go for deep cleaning or gum surgery. Please don't delay ur treatment if u find that the spaces between teeth is increasing. Meet a periodontist (gum specialist)
Next Steps
Full mouth xray will help in proper diagnosis
Health Tips
Visit a dentist once in 6 months for healthy gums and teeth.
