In a regular cycle ovulation occurs 14 days before menses. So for a cycle of 28 days ovulation occurs on day 14. For 35 days cycle ovulation occurs on day 21.. But practically this doesn't happen exactly. When ovulation occurs it lives for 24 hrs. Coming to sperms.. It lives for 7days. Calculate your day of ovulation according to your cycle.. Pregnancy occurs when intercourse happens between 7 days before and 1day after ovulation.
