We are planning to have a baby by the end of next year. I want to know what should the parents do the prepare for the child. Health wise.

Hi, its better both should undergo screening for sexually transmitted diseases before planning pregnancy. And in addition to that women should undergo pre conceptional counseling & screening tests...kindly contact ur gynecologist

Probable risks that a baby might encounter wil be explained to you in counselling.And also need for folic acid supplements wil be started accordingly.
