Pilonidal sinus
My doctor suggested for a surgery...but my query is ...is it compulsary to have a surgery...or what's the probability this will not happen again ...I am in an IT profession and most of the time have sitting work...so because of that I have gained weight too... My confusion is ...is surgery the permanent and the final solution for this...because i don't feel any pain because of this pilonidal sinus.. Please suggest soon

Hi. I think the cyst has drained and so you are not feeling pain. Kindly remove it through surgical procedure. It's a minimal invasive surgery so no need to worry about it. Take care
