Photo therapy for new born - Is it ok ?
My baby girl born 2 days ago , she weighs 2.78 kg. She had her bilurbin tested yesterday and it was measured to be 10mg/do. Pediatrician advised her phototherapy. is it something dangerous to worry about ??

Hi, phototherapy is considered safe treatment with other precautions .
Treatment depends on bilirubin level and other overall clinical assessment. Follow your paediatrician opinion .
